Learning Beyond the Training Room

Learning does not only happen during presentations or workshops. In HUGS-PRO, participants also stepped into real community settings to see how support for mothers and families is organised in practice.

During the training week in Agadir, participants visited Association Oum El Banine and the Women Union, meeting professionals and learning about community-based approaches, local practices and intergenerational support. These encounters created space to observe, ask questions and exchange experiences beyond the training environment.

These experiences are an important part of HUGS-PRO’s learning approach. By connecting training with real-life contexts, participants can better understand different realities and reflect on how practices can inform the development of stronger support for new mothers and families.
